Nice job... What is the material used in hull mold? how's it made? thanks.
-
1.5 oz cloth and 2 oz mat per square yard.
Is that right?
Seems awful thin.... -
Where is the mold now? Is it in use? Is it for sale?

Very nice. All the fiberglass was applied by hand lay-up?
If it was, very good job with the lay-up., very clean and well finshed. :) -
Hello great and educated video, can i get your email so i can ask more questions from you!!!
Also what about the part 2?
How do you attach the hull with the deck.
Thanks, -
Hi the 2 parts are fiberglassed together at the keel with an overlap in the video at 0:49 . the glassing is better to be done in one go but in the construction of this boat was layed in two parts as the otherside wasnt accessible enough for the air to be removed properly if layed in one go, so the mould is rolled onto its sides so you can reach into the middle. btw you cannot climb into the mould as you'll contaminate the surface with dirt so the next layer of fibreglass wont adhere aswell

A bit confusion, u glassed the boat into 2 parts but not sure how u joined them together. Don't u need to overlap the glass and resin to first part when start glassing the second part? Or will it be better to do the glassing in one go? Sorry if my question is a stupid one. My name is Phil and I'm doing Marine Craft Construction course in Australia. I'm still a noob so forgive me if mu question is a stupid one.
