I used a product called gluvit ,purchased from Amazon. Use it on my driftboat and other boat projects that leaked. Stuff is great for sealing leaky rivets.just make sure to scuff up the flight when it drys so that paint sticks properly..

I have come to find out that Diamond plate is not a slippery surface even when wet.lighter than wood ,no rot and unlike carpeting no wet moldy odors.

We restored a $100 Jon Boat in a little less than a week and took it out to a pond. Boat held up great, no leaks. Fished for hours! This video doesn't show us welding/applying glove-it.
